Set in Backdrop of Chennai , Hongkong and Singapore it is Young Adult Romance fiction of a young lad who crosses the sea to win the heart of the one who he has fallen in love with.
Cover looks really nice and matches the story.
The protagonist and his other half 's character are developed carefully alomg with the other side characters.
The different turns give nice twist to the story.
Moments and the backdrop of the situations and the places are thoughtfully penned down.
Narration is kept lucid with simple use of language and the style is kept in a way that can connect to the contemporary generation but the use of slang or the casual way of language that is used at few places is not appreciated by me as a reader.
Short chapters with interesting titles make it a easy read but it has a moderate speed. For a debut novel I feel it is quite a good fiction but I think the story could have been kept a bit shorter which could have added more charm with a fast pace reducing the dragging trait.
The conversations between the couple and the friends are kept simple, innocent, funny and sweet.
College life added more fun. Emotions are described nicely between the family relatives and friends.
Being an young author his writing style shows his good efforts though the story is predictable , I encourage author to write more and I hope to read his next novels too.
