She stood by me

She stood by me is a simple feel good story about contemporary young adult  love . Abhishek and Aparna are classmates .  They are in a IIT center in Dhanbad from where they slowly start to know each other and finally fall in love. Abhishek is quite shy but a very gentle and decent boy from a middle  class family . Aparna is smart and too beautiful to get swayed fast by an ordinary boy like Abhi. The blurb :   But Abhishek is actually very caring and his behavior around her is kind of comical , emotionally charged when he takes each step very carefully and sometimes his inner thoughts are really relatable and his tensed demeanour is funny . Few scenes made me giggle.Narration is quite good .    Nidhi is like those queralsome friends who irritate you to your bones . There arises some problems regarding there love marriage being in orthodox Indian culture and career stress .  Then an accident happens with one .  To know if they later on sepa

Book Review : As Death Stares Back ( Ajinkya Bhasme )

Who is actually dead and who is alive ? When reality and dream blends with paranormal activities this happens. Sanjana , Punit and their little kid Manu are a close-knit family . Punit is great as a husband but not as a father .   Manu who took birth prematurely is not much liked by Punit for weak Manu needs exclusive care . Getting more distant from and irritated by his own kid , Punit meets an unfortunate end when Manu is only five years old.  The blurb :  Sanjana and Manu are not only going through huge personal loss but there is some unexplainable unholy incidents occurring out of the blue into their home with Manu being the target of the attacks .  Reality starts to fully upside down when nightmares and the day light blend into one . The backdrop is filled with an abnormal uneasiness and wrapped with cloudy atmosphere of suspense.  Strands of hair , wooden pieces , water tub , Punit crawling on the ceiling ! Stressed out of all these

Rhythm of Remebrance ( By Samir Satam ) : Book Review

Rhythm of remembrance is an anthology of plethora of poems where the poems focus on the afterglow of moments spent with others and one's own self.  They touch nuances of emotions ranging from the first touch of love to the pain after separation. They are melancholic , poignant but mostly has this vibe of nostalgia. Old clothes , cornors of the roads travelled , food , scents and everything sometimes teleports us to a moment or phase in life that we hold close to our hearts. Memories will be there you wish to remember it or not .  Colorful pictures are added against most poems that are taken by the author at various places. They are very beautiful and what can describe memories better than visual arts like photographs .  Allegorically written they have the style of poetry that lets us think a bit more than the simple surface to interpret their metaphorical hidden tales. They are mostly in prose style .  Memories of a good soul , memories of moment
