Mastisk Aur Vicharo Se Jivan ki Rachna Kaise Kare ? (Hindi Edition) : By Author Dinesh Sahay

This is a book by author Mr. Dinesh Sahay . He is a writer whose books are based on motivating others to achieve their dreams by bringing regularity in their thoughts and actions. This is  Hindi version of his other book that I recently reviewed "Enlighten the lamp of your fortune".  All the points that are mentioned in that book are almost here as well in an arranged manner. So if you are more comfortable in Hindi or you like reading it in Hindi you may check this book out. Once again the points to follow in the inspiring program is mentioned in bulletin points.  This book additionally has some illustrations.  Author has kept the voice in a positive way .  He tells to use the fortune for helping others and then use for yourself too and not fully keep it for self. To reduce negativity and keep in mind there is a supreme power who will help you in this journey.  Every thing is in smooth language and easy to understand and to k

"Enlighten the Lamp of Your Fortune" by Dinesh Sahay

I realised whenever I feel down I like picking up a book that inspires me to move forward and belief in self. This is one such book by Sir Dinesh Sahay. The name and the title is catchy and it basically talks about how to work forward so we can achieve best and most in our lives.  The best thing is he has told that even if it gets hard never loose hope and believe that it's not a single lifetime. In the next too I will achieve more so slowly move forward to achieve big in this present life too.  He has mentioned a programme Enlighten your lamp of fortune where he mentions the three stages of mind , time and four time zones. How to utilise your thoughts, how to keep the  ones that bring good result  and delete the negative ones and manifest the dreams . The process of picking up a wish and dividing it into various small goals in present life is not new to me but it again reminded me of some  basic points.  He has time and now made it clear that thinkin

Two books by Author Sonia BABY ON BOARD and YOURS LEGALLY

I In this post you will find my thoughts after reading two books by author : Sonia Sahijwani Baby on board is the experience shared by authoress about her own first pregnancy. All the things she learnt through out this phase of her motherhood she has mentioned each in brief chapters . From how she conquered the fear of conceiving , how she will adjust with her career , changing body , cope pain during  the fearful delivery time to what to do yourself if plans donot work  finally than only listening  to society. She has mentioned the importance to learn and keep yourself educated throughout the process by choosing better gynecologist , dance , exercise , eat healthy , listen to your own vibes ,  let the husband participate too , enjoy the overall journey and welcome the baby who fills lives with biggest joys. From a fearful career oriented lady almost irritated by pressurizing relatives and all free flying advises to a proud happy mother , how she describ

Just Kidding... Yours, Destiny

The main attraction of this story is the way the narration has been done, really quirky and funny. If you are feeling down and need a light read that helps you to have an uplifting in your  mood check this book out.Author Mr.Anirban Das has mixed his storytelling to put forward his thoughts in a tale that tells about the ordinary life of most of us but in a sarcastic way . Protagonists are ambitious , but again somehow getting rocked by the heavy waves of life and destiny by the boss or the  society and sometimes due to their own mind and heart . Day to day events at job  along with managing the ups and  downs of emotions while understanding the other gender and along side your own feelings become sometimes too much hectic and  then again there comes the family and society while boating the sea of life when it always seems we can achieve more and more and time seems lesser than ever. What we portray and what we basically are sometimes come with a gap but finall

A year of Wednesdays (By sonia Bahl )

" Ichi go ichi e . One time one encounter lasts a lifetime.." This story is based on the fact that we do meet a lot of random people in our lives. But few mark their place in our heart so deep that we carry even their short presence in the long span of our lives .  So true right ? I believe time spent is not as much of a big factor as much the influence created is.  This is so true is not it ? The story starts with two people , the female protagonist is very serious person , no nonsense headed , more melancholic with her baby in her lap, deep inside she is poignant but very compassionate towards nature and people and believes we all have to find love. On the other hand the neighbor passenger to her is the man who is almost a male fashionista , party lover , happy go lucky person with attractive looks. Together they enter into conversations for the 15 hour journey which later bind them into a connection that even after never looking back after de

The Chronicle of Golgotha Days (By author sujith Balakrishnan )

It is the retelling of a true incident . A kidnapping case of a 16 year old girl and how she went into a disastrous series of heinous tortures every single day multiple times in the hands of different hideous evils that luck in the same society that we leave in. Abhay was in ninth grade and somehow she decides to elope with a  bus conductor Babu but she gets cheated and kidnapped by an woman in her way.  It is very disturbing to know that it is the story of a real girl who is now recovering after 7 years. And yes these things happen very easily in India and other countries. Predators are always running all over the place to have a young victim. When she  understands she has got into a major problem , she has no way to escape . She looks back at her life in her parents home that how she was loved and cared about and how the strangers who kept her in captivity beat her , use her to income dirty money by using her as a sex slave was very heart wrenching.

Dalal's Street ( By Anurag Tripathi )

This fiction revolves around investments and stock market. Few very energetic sharp minded friends passes out of college and they decide to try their hands on the stock market industry to build their career out if it . Book length  : 210 pages You may buy it here :  If you are into finance you will like a book like this which through its tale shows how people in greed can forget emotions and ready to commit unfaithful means. The story has various characters each play a twisted and contrasting role to portray this basic way of money minded people who can cheat by their false promises and do anything to attain power .  But what is more important in our lives people forget easily being materialistic. Author has used light tones to keep this tale getting boring or heavy . The flexicover us really eye catching . Page quality and all of Niyogi books have always been exceptional.  Language is lucid but makes its mark. Character development was done a

Gandhi in 150 anecdotes

This book is a collector's edition with illustration filled pages . This  hardcover was released on the 150th birth anniversary  of Gandhiji containing  150 facts about his life right from the time of his birth . Some of which are well known to many and many of them for me were unknown and I liked knowing about them . Gandhiji is known for his preaching about non violence , peace , ahimsha . He was the one who actually started a mass 'organized' movement in India . I respect each and every freedom fighter whoever fought in the struggle of India's independence from British empire . And Gandhiji was one of the most  prominent leaders whose contributions made him father of the nation . This little book talks about how he chose truth over cheating , no cruelty , bravery , living a lifestyle that was devoid of meat , drugs and chose a simple life with a purpose to help others. There are little illustrations inside . Nice little book for kids and even

The Rage Within by Chandrayan Gupta (A Radha Bose novel )

This is the second book in this series called Radha Bose novel but it can be read as a stand alone too. The character of Radha pleased me . The plot has many twists. In first chapter only picks up the thrill and then the story glides smoothly . It is a detective suspense thriller . The backdrop of classic Kolkata was very relatable and felt fascinating. The book is divided into short chapters.  Narration has good pace but sometimes I was not able to get to the point faster . The characters if the personalities are developed thoughtfully. Author has used his imaginative power effectively and suspense creating skills to make this fiction such that readers too will keep flipping pages . It felt good to read a story based in Bengal that really hideous minds lurk in the dark. Past is something that carries a lot of unsolved mysteries . And mental health of the detective is something that creates hindrance here along with that . The case that follows is inte

My thoughts on a Young Adult Book : Dramatic Daydreams of Miss Sodabottleopenerwala

This book by Authoress Tanvi is a Young adult Comedy fiction. This book has humerius incidents of a girl in her early adulthood named Kira Sodabottleopenerwalla ( I was bit amazed by the surname, haha  ) . The chapters start with a funny comment by one of the characters ( check blog for pictures ) and then the story glides smoothly.  The first chapter itself is funny . But this read like YA ROM coms are for people who are in teenage and may like to read a comedy based teenage fiction related to friends and family faults and getting into troubles and coming up with crazy ideas that will make readers laugh out a bit. Narrative style is actually quirky and it is giggle worthy.  Kiru's character is interesting . She is bit confused, she is a good junkie , but wants to reduce weight  , has strong opinions on different things , passionate and  her friends are having different personality that are sometimes hard to deal with along with pets and that makes the story have

By God : The making if a Messiah ( By Author Shashi Warrior )

It is a satire about the hypocrisy of the socio-political structure and situation of a country ( ours and many other nations ) where people talk high but at the core they cannot go beyond certain conventional ideas and cultural practices. Democracy is about choosing our own government. People rule . But actually in a satirical way the author has presented the hidden dark truth that who ever shows a minimum knowledge or eligibility to question and stand against any wrong doings are silenced and punished wrongly .  In this fiction it is the atheist , anarchist and intellectuals who are are punished rather given death sentence as they are captured . The best are the intellectuals part  as they teach people to be able to understand and question  the actual procedure of the system which is a big threat to the government inself. So the author shows that the system wants to deceive citizens with false info too. I liked the character development part. The barber is intelligent , l
