Gandhi in 150 anecdotes

This book is a collector's edition with illustration filled pages . This  hardcover was released on the 150th birth anniversary  of Gandhiji containing  150 facts about his life right from the time of his birth .

Some of which are well known to many and many of them for me were unknown and I liked knowing about them . Gandhiji is known for his preaching about non violence , peace , ahimsha . He was the one who actually started a mass 'organized' movement in India .

I respect each and every freedom fighter whoever fought in the struggle of India's independence from British empire . And Gandhiji was one of the most  prominent leaders whose contributions made him father of the nation .

This little book talks about how he chose truth over cheating , no cruelty , bravery , living a lifestyle that was devoid of meat , drugs and chose a simple life with a purpose to help others. There are little illustrations inside . Nice little book for kids and even adults who like handy books as collectibles . I would love to read more such type of books , may be a series can be made on Subhash Chandra Bose , Albert Einstein, Jagadish Chandra Bose , Tagore , APJ Abdul Kalam , I mean on  more such eminent personalities.
