Book Review : Retrospective Wellness Series Book 1

‘Health is Wealth’. Not only because it is an age-old saying but I personally absolutely believe it is the truth of our lives. If you are not healthy, your work will be delayed and thus wealth. Think about it.  In this book, the author has thrown some light on methods one can follow to improve one’s chance of a beautiful life. Longevity, literally, means living longer, but it also means much more than that. There is no point in extending your lifespan by lying in a bed, unable to perform your basic duties and always needing external assistance. The author has explained some key points for achieving health with scientific facts, ancient knowledge and effective tips to relearn and incorporate these for better health .  It was enriching to know the importance of bringing down your BPM count in a day. How modern lifestyle has effected our intake of water and how it is effecting our inner system.  Why I found this book innovative a

Book Review Age Of The Imperfect Leaders by Pawan Verma

In today's contemporary world the rate of change is higher but it is disruptive . In his intensive studies he has observed that the theories and the implementations of the practice of  leadership have many gaps in between . But the ever so changing new economy and organizations demand new leadership styles and models based of the current realities. About the author :  In Age Of The Imperfect Leaders Sir Pawan Verma talks about essentials of Successful leadership.  The secret of one's leadership success lies in identifying one's core strength cultivating them into strong suit which makes us feel more motivated and weaknesses become irrelevant Successful leaders are those who bring change in the society. In the context of avoiding moral development distinction between good and bad the mention of Gandhi and Hitler was very thoughtful.    In the chapter 'Celebrating Imperfect leaders'  though I knew Einstein wa

One of the best books I read in 2020 : Esperanza : Tommy Tutalo

Esperanza is one of my best reads of 2020 already  ! In one word it felt beautiful  I am glad after a long while I got to read a deep thoughtful debut book by an indie author. The narration had the essence of Paulo Coelho specially because the backdrops had the Mexican touch.  Somewhere I feel as India has a rich cultural background so does Mexico , Brazil. These countries have an unique cultural essence which somewhere I feel connected too.  Esperanza is 577 pages long book written by the author Sir Tommy Tutalo. It was an emotionally riveting read for me . Esperanza in Spanish means Hope ! Like Monarch butterflies have to fly for thousands of miles to reach their destination , this book reached me from the USA to India to bring me happiness and hope.  While reading this book it may seem like it's a woman centric fiction but once you go further the story will unfold more evils of our world that impacts thousands of lives.
