It is difficult to kill even a weak man who does not easily trust others but easy to kill a strong person who readily believes others....
This book is inspired by moral stories of Ancient popular moral story anthology “Panchantra” and carries the style of Anthropomorphism where animals exihibit human like traits in their behaviour, emotions and lifestyle.
Language is lucid yet has sprinkle of ornamentations here and there .
It is a witty and satirical take on the so called morals taught to us by self classified expert elders who have no close relations with real life logic.
Each story points out the dent in the social rigid norms. It is also a book for adults.
The stories are wittier with involvement of vivid and contrasting characters in tales similar to the ancient Vishnu Sharma's works but with Author Mr. Mittals original twistsand turns making it correlatable with real life situations.
The sanskrit quotes in between with few phrases of hindu social conducts are enjoyable.
It gives a hard blow also to the sterotyping tendencies and beliefs of our culture that are more mythical , do no good than limiting our senses of actual morals and ethics.
Pace is slow to moderate but at some places I was getting out of track with addition of extra details or off track informations that actually were meant to be sarcastic additions but made me overloaded. Also at few places use of slangs I didnot find pleasant. The cover if made colourful can be more eye catching.
That is my take on this book.
