Written by Madam Mary Robinson who served as UN Secretary General 's social envoy on Climate Change and was the president of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human rights.She has been awarded US presidential Medal of Freedom and Charleston John Maynard Keynes Prize 2019.

She talks very effectively about the real time affects of industrial revolution , where the developed nations are riding on the backs of fossil fuels for economic development , frightened to adapt faster alternative for risks of falling GDP but the affects are actually carried by burdened up poor countries in a more drastic way.

Water surges , increase in ocean level , decrease in forest area cover in developing or underdeveloped countries in an exponential rate , threatening not only mankind in those countries but the life system on planet as whole changing the climate putting more animals in the red book of endangered species.

She has talked about Kyoto protocol , her own work experience in various UN and other world conferences including real time data , analytics , and most importantly stories of incredible people from various countries who took small steps but with big ideas , fighting obstacles encouraging their whole community and tribes to follow the hard but much needed path to protect biodiversity and climate taking activitosm to a global level influencing the masses !
Beautiful non - fiction full of knowledge and motivation and awareness that climate change is no more a science abstract but a real man made phenomenon and if it still is not touching you , it will get to you when you see its affect on you and your own loved ones soon.
