The Unknown Lives : Book Review

This book starts with an intro that says these short stories came in form of letters sent to the authors  by many people around the world and 15 best were selected among them.

I came  to know later  that its just a concept but this way of presentation is thoughtfulness to catch readers attention .Each letter starts with a title and many of them are shown as they were either found in hands of unknown little kid by side of a road  , a dying man or sent by a journalist , etc.

I liked the letter by a Prostitute in hands of her kids. It was heart breaking. Though its a fiction but that is the reality and it is horrific to even imagine.
Then the letter by an army personnel to his beloved telling war is not an answer . He sends his undying love to his unborn child . It was beautiful.

The first letter that was by a father confessing to his son his untold love story didnot touch me for I was looking for a deeper ending and it failed in that.

In the same way few stories felt warm, thoughtful and few lacked depth,I kept looking for bit more. But as a different reader you can have your own thoughts. The cover looks calmer , beautiful.

I like it.
Nice way of presenting stories which revolve around important social issues and untold  tales of our emotions.
