A Drop of You by Krishna Chhetri

Do you like love stories ? Which one is your favourite ? Last year I read Eleven Minutes by Paolo Coelho . That was more thought oriented so I liked it . Other than that love stories are not my thing  😛.⁣

Book Review : ⁣

________________⁣

"Ghazal, she smiled, ah-huh! So did my heart! Oh! I was enamoured by her smile and
was miserably drunk and lost in her eyes. Ah! Ghazal, she is not easy nor is she an ordinary woman. She is a woman who wears a makeup of simplicity concealing the hidden wildness of passion within. She vomits sarcasm, flaunts bitterness like a prized possession but holds an undying faithfulness filled with oneness for the one and the only she would say yes to."

These lines are nice and catchy to describe a woman by a man who is enamoured by her smile. ⁣

Now coming to the actual plot , it is light read ,  fully revolving around romance , relationships and complexities that grow when there is a love triangle involved . I like love stories that have component of other genres too usually.⁣
Karma  falls for Ghazal in first sight , wooes her with lovey dovey poems . In the flow philosophical thoughts are included too.Ghazal develops feelings later , but Karma despite knowing Diana his very close childhood friend who is in love with him deeply as well strings them along. So who gets heartbroken or if anyone gets coupled finally is the conclusion like most love triangle plots. Here the characters play certain roles of society and life.Suffice to tell relationships and affairs of heart  are messy . Plot is predictable .If you are a new reader looking for easy cozy love story but with some thoughtful messages , you may check this.⁣
