The title does tell us about its about a girl who wears burqa. But it's way more than that. Is Nazia just a normal Muslim girl who wears veil for her beliefs or what horrendous memories she hides under it ? Is Aditya just a kind-hearted boy or his mind is bursting out of tightening situations in his life ?
The religious fanaticism has been touched too by weaving the plot with an inter religious based relationship. All women go through some kind of harassment or abuse sometime or the other in their lives. Even men also do . But few inhuman crimes damage their psychology and physical existence for a lifetime.
Over that society supports the criminals . Crime is increasing but can harsh laws fix all of them ? The revolt against it shall rise from individual selves. But how much can one take ? Beautiful story but few incidents are written in details that are gruesome but these things happen in reality which is mire upsetting. Emotionally captivating and truly can see Mr. Patel has a true intention to convey the message of compassion to all . I only will suggest author as a reader that if the writing gets once more edited as there are considerable amounts of grammatical / typing mistakes this book has great potential to stand out in the crowd .
Very much appreciate his young self to write a story of importance which needs discussion and points out the hypocrisy of our current sham society .
