Book Review : Jersig

Jersig by Author J.B.Whitehouse ,  is a contemporary fiction . It is the name is of one of the characters.Jersig is the man who Quentine a.k.a Q mets and his life takes the very needed turn that his soul was waiting for.But it has a lot of twists.

The story starts when Q is in his late twenties, already exhausted in his mundane lifestyle.Feeling dull in the present day and nostalgic about his childhood days when he used to spend his days in reverie , growing up compelled him loose all charms for life with its fixed routine. But his curiosity for life is never ending.

In the humbrum of which , he decides to go out when he meets Jersig and Cadence.Surprisingly he remembers him ! From there the story starts to roll.

Their bond deepens over time which lets Q explore a hidden talent of his.Where Jersig is all charming and confident  , Q is yet doubtful and waiting to find the call from life.It is astory about self discovery as well. A lot of introspection and self talk goes on.

But Jersig James has a dark side to him which gets revealed when they face a challenge. The journal entries of 2011 came out to be a big twist.I loved the last letter, that somehow made me remember impactful people in my life too.

The words used add great depth but may come across as arduous for few. I found few lines very deep running. Also this book carries somewhat of an unfathomable hue.
