What a beautiful book this is! Full of vivid colourful pictures of high quality prints with beautiful shiny pages containing the lessons of God Jesus for the mankind.
It starts with the picture of author's parents who he is grateful to for sowing the seed of faith in him.
This book is aimed at letting readers know who god was, what he has done, his mercy, will, promises and know the essence of it. It highlights all the promises of God in the old and new testaments.
The thoughtful stories from bible are presented in point wise manner which makes the read easily comprehensive and interesting even for young readers of this modern age. So the lessons donot fade away with time. I liked reading Genenis Chapter 5 about creation of Adam and Eve which tells the plan as well. Jesus walks on water, Jesus heals man born blind, paralyzed Man, man with leprosy,Jesus calms the storm and How and who wrote the testaments all show Jesus Christ's kind nature.
Many people think religious texts are fully devoid of topics that science cannot explain. So they think it is all illogical. But it is not so. The chapter that presents how bible also contains topics that are related to scientic facts and astronomy was fascinating. Laws of thermodynamics, hydrologic cycle, earth's existence in space, oceanography, origin of life and many more related to bible content are explained.
The verse and passage numbers are added for each part. Important parts are highlighted with big fonts alongside biblical paintings.
I am Hindu by birth. But I belief my religion is kindness by my choice.
I also believe many judge other religions without knowing the core beliefs, criticise them and present their own religion as better. But the truth is all religions preach some similar messages to their followers that is, to be like the one you follow- God. God has many names, the pictures he is presented as has many different faces but in inside he/she/it is kind, loving and forgiving. Read all religious texts and try to take the positive and beautiful messages from each and imbibe the knowledge for world's happiness.
This is a really fantastic book by the author. My mother liked it too. You may check this book out.
