This is an exciting read. After selling all their material possessions the authors sets off on a unthinkable real life family journey with her husband and two daughters of age 5 and 8 for 19 long months across different countries of Central America.

But for what? I was fascinated to know that! It was thoughtful and as I kept reading the pages took me with them to their travels which proved to be enlightening in many ways.

First hand experiences are real time learnings for lifetime. Travels can be sustainable and exposing kids to real life situations actually can nourish their mind towards environmentalism.

From Hondurus, Guatemala to Costa Rica and Mexico they travel on a Chicken Bus , a sustainable public transport mostly available in developing countries.

They  cross a border, experience injuries and infection, visit UNESCO sites and again see the temples dating back to Mayan civilization.

The travel diary is written in amusing language, sometimes funny sometimes heart warming. These pages let you travel with them, know about their struggles while facing unfavourable and unknown conditions but coming out as a different person now having wonderful knowledge about different cultures, having new stories to tell, embracing humanity, family bonding and becoming an enlightened and aware global citizen as whole.

It is a beautiful read for sure. Recommended to all.
