Camelia
That’s incredibly interesting. Your book "The Path of
Sukshmaloka" has readers amazed with its intense characters
and well-crafted story. What inspired you and how did you
manage to create such a fascinating work?

Mr. Nihar Bhonsule:
Life is the biggest inspirer. I don’t mean to sound cheesy, or over emotional. But yes,
it is true. Often we discover of real incidents being stranger than the ones in fiction.
So yeah, it’s been a long and interesting journey with ample highs and even more
generous lows.
We live in very dark and murky times. The inspiration behind the books primary
message was to make people think differently and uplift them in the process, as you
must have read in the preface of the book.

Camelia
Wow, that’s truly a wise thought. ‘The Path Of Sukshmaloka’ is
being loved for venturing into various new and unique territories
like dystopian fiction and urban fantasy, which is scarcely visited
these days. Was there any kind of apprehension before venturing
into these territories of book writing?

Mr. Nihar Bhonsule:
Well, yes and no. Yes there was a slight apprehension before I began the publishing
journey. You see these days books are predominantly straightforward.
There is nothing to decode or analyse. They are mass bestsellers.
With ‘The Path of Sukshmaloka’ , there was a slight apprehension since the book
follows a very non-linear narrative with multiple storylines spanning over different
timelines. It is often done in western works but is indeed a scarcity out here.
The goal behind this was to provide sheer uniqueness and artistic value with a lot of
messages for the reader to decode and think over.
Yet, I realised that nothing can stop a good story from being understood and loved
after seeing the response of readers, so I am very happy.

Camelia
Speaking of characters, ‘The Path Of Sukshmaloka’ has many
characters and story-archs which entwine into the main plot.
What is the significance of this?

Mr. Nihar Bhonsule:
Yes, I get where you are coming from. Well, let me give you a small example.
Tomorrow if there is a piece of news or a war or any kind of big event, it is not
always between simply one, two or three people.
The event has a string of people associated with it. So coming back to the point of
your question, the goal of the characters was to add that touch of realism. The
purpose was to show how the mega events of the book are contributed to by several
characters because of their motives and actions.
Reality is grey. There is no protagonist or antagonist. There are several different
people and only their motives and actions which lead up to any event.

Camelia
Absolutely, very true. Are there any messages you would like to
deliver readers through this story?

Mr. Nihar Bhonsule:
Yes plenty of them. There are messages, lessons and insights too. I would even go
as far to say that ‘The Path Of Sukshmaloka’ is not for pure entertainment alone. It is
even to uplift readers and enrich their life with meaning.
But the main message you can say, is to guide readers to higher spiritual awareness
and lead them away from illusion and ignorance of life.

Camelia
Are you planning to write a sequel to this book or any new book
coming out soon?

Mr. Nihar Bhonsule:
Indeed. There will be a massive sequel in the works and will be out soon. The Path
Of Sukshmaloka leaves a lot of questions unanswered. The sequel will further the
story and give readers a lot of more fun things to ponder over.

So my bibliophile friends I hope you enjoyed knowing more about Mr. Bhonsule and his latest work.
