Eternal Trudges by Sailee Tiwari

Poetry captures what's so often ungraspable, articulates what's so often hard to put into words, expresses our outrage and our pain and our love, and gives us the tools to praise the sublime. We are connected soul to soul by stanzas and verse.

Eternal Trudges by poetess Sailee Tiwari is an anthology of 45 poems. From joyous adventurous trails in the nature to melancholic reminiscences of the past, this book proves to be like a bouquet of colourful wildflowers.

From the Poems in the first part it is quite evident that Nature has been one of the strongest inspiring muses for there existence. These poems felt like I was in a reverie. The essence of nature's beauty and the bliss it instills in us while we spend joyous hours with it was painted here.
Later the poems glided into myriads of themes like finding oneself in the chaotic world, being resilient in the darkest of hours, remembering the past, self love, etc.

'Facing the Demons' speaks about the struggle of the inner wars.
'A Feeling' projected about the reminiscences of the gone days.

Forty five such poems that touch upon many such different aspects of life splashed with hues of emotions.

I recommend this book to poetry lovers.

Here's one such poem from the book  that I loved reading!

_______
✨Wishes✨

She recalled her day of the wedding, Adorned in red attire, smiling and decking.

She gaped at the mirror, touched her earring, Reassuring her look and jewellery, she stood peering.

He sneaked in as she looked at his reflection,

His notorious eyes looked at her with affection.  Holding her tight, he pecked at her neckline, They flushed, blossomed, causing her eyes to shine.

Years passed, staring at the clouds she reminisces, Love is poignant and strong, to the stars she desires.

His letter loomed in her hands, while he was away, Serving his nation, on the anniversary, wishes to stay.
