Love is the most beautiful emotion of all.
All its forms are powerful. It provides us freedom. But again if someone evodences it's dark side, the negative emotions can engulf them and leave them into life's dark corner of gallows.
Here is a fictional story whose plot is pivoted on love and it's dark consequences. It revolves around break up and its depressive side effects. The book is told in three parts : Cause, Consequences and Effect.
Everyone of us in our lives must have gone through a heart break. The first one always in some one changes our lives and thoughts in its own ways.
This story starts on a day in 1995 in the city of dreams the then Bombay. We witness a boy is being treated horribly by his girlfriend. This bitter break up leds him to enter deep depression. Later it shifts to Texas in 2021. A psychologist of 49 years of age is in a TV interview. When he shows turmoil in his behaviour while sharing his 25 year old devastating break up story we come to know it was his own memory of 1995. I liked the plot from this very point. The way author arranges later the whole story actually felt impressive.
He has added a lot of information about psychological concepts and how emotions, our mind and disturbances in it effect us. Depression is a difficult phase but many go through and I liked he took time to plot a story around it so people can relax and accept anyone going through it. It is an eye opener to some extent.
The plot shifts to 2020 in San Angelo where another young lad faces similar issues where the psychologist comes to help. The mystery build up was thoughtfully done.
