Little Do We Know
Authored by : Divya Johari Resu

This is an anthology of beautiful poems. It has plethora of such pieces that will soak through your skin to provide you something to comtemplate on.

Here are total sixty seven such thoughtful poems that are spread around different hues of genres. They range from themes of finding hope in sombre times, dream of one's life, owing oneself, embracing ones process of healing after breaking down, plight of being poor, romance and loss, nature's bliss, etc. They touch nuances of emotions and through rhymic verses that about various aspects of our life's which make it almost like a beautiful bouquet of some wildflowers tucked together. These were conceived while the autho is pregnant as well. 💛

Few are Short and sone are long poems. Presented in lucid words they still prove to be very thoughtful and yes even beginners would fall in love with them.

They are accompanied by lovely abstract illustrations as well.  I found the pieces quite inspired by keen daily life  observations.

Like for instance among the lot my favourites were the long ones that spoke about the plight of a street vendor, what happens if a newly married girl goes through domestic violence, a brides ode to her beloved father in law, childrens gratitude towards their loving mother, etc.

These are the poems:

An Ode to a Mother on Her Birthday,
A Bride's Letter to her Beloved Father in Law,
Can We Classify the Violent,
An Outweighted plea of a Bride

If you are into poetry you may go for this book. You will find it soaked in emotions and essence of real life.
