Ciscoe’s Dance by Marion Hill

Ciscoe’s Dance is a story of full of adventure! It immediately transports you to the imaginary world of Kammbia where magic happens anytime. I have read the previous series by author Marion Hill. It was fantastic! Now here comes the new series!
Ciscoe and Latisha are professional dancers in Guanamamma music a traditional one in their lands.  All goes well in their 16 year happily married life being achieved fame in night club performances, until Piccanta music, the latest trend, spouts up and with that Life throws several hardships across their way. Now Piccanta music threatens the traditional steps.

It has its own grooves to be enjoyed. Being a trend now that introduces new modern style, crowds flock to Piccanta clubs and Ciscoe and Latisha’s performances start to take backseat. But they still got hope as the Festival of Josette arrives that remained Walter’s Grove tradition for years. They thought it shall atleast remain true to its roots.  But an unimaginable twist came in their way as the festival’s organizers think otherwise.

Will their years of hardwork crush down? Will they be able to turn the tables around?  Will the traditional festival loose its charm and their cultural music loose its grip on the crowd? Will it become relics of the past? Many such questions line up now.

Their personal life takes a toll too. Some woman's scorn devastates Cisco's and affects his marriage of 16 years. But hope peeps in when a new group forms to create a new energetic fan base and Ciscoe’s once-hidden family ties start to reveal a new lively connection. Will this ray of hope bring sunshine and success?

This is a story that carries the essence of how music and dance bring fun, happiness, hope and great connection to a community. An adventure and twist filled first part of a series  that keeps the reader entertained till the end.
