Author Interview with Mr. Mukunt Sudarsan, We're Corporates

Today we have with us Mr. Mukunt Sudarsana, the author of the latest sensational fiction "We're Corporates" .
With him today we will talk about himself new book and his other hobbies.

1) Q Tell us something about yourself.

A:  I’m an introvert and loves reading books. I hail from Chennai and work in a software company. My love for reading books started from college days and I love to read both fiction and nonfiction. From my tender age, writing books was not my cup of tea. Out of nowhere, when I sensed where my life is going on without any directions, I wanted to dedicate myself to a thing which is soul satisfying. And writing was the only thing which made me happier and allowed me to explain my feels, and made me feel composed.

2) Q: What inspires you to write and what inspired you to write a book on corporates.
A: I was going directionless in life picking up whatever was coming on my way. I have tasted failures a lot more than success. Never expected that each and every stage of my life will teach me something about life.

When I rated satisfaction and happiness on a higher scale, than other aspects, writing gave me both and found out my new passion in the early twenties. I wrote short stories, and I have a blog. When I wanted to write a full-fledged novel, instead of devoting time on researching other subjects, I thought of telling my very own life story before people. And that’s how We’re Corporates was born.

Q: Is it your debut book. Have you written any more books? Let us know about them.
A: Yes, it is my debut book. This book was originally published in the year 2015 under Blackbuck Publication in New Delhi. After that due to personal and professional commitments, I couldn’t devote time to write much and naturally it became a hobby for me. Now, again I wanted to republish the book, so it came into live again. I have also co-authored a book called Papercut and its scheduled get released on Jan 2022.

QWhat other hobbies or bookish hobbies do you enjoy other than writing and reading?
A: Reminds me of going to book fairs and collecting a lot of books. I used to be a member of British council library (Chennai). I borrow books, read them, surf them and return back. I casually visit many bookstores to buy books. I don’t necessarily just read the book and stop with them. I used to research about the author, and get details about them. Other than this, I play Badminton, Carrom and fond of board games.

Q:  How was your writing journey.  How long did it take to finish your book. Tell us more about it.
A:  Writing journey is rewarding. Enjoyed each and every moment of writing the book from the scenes, to cultivating characters to the setting. It took me close to one year to finish the book. Initially I wrote the synopsis in my diary on a wild week day evening after the office hours. That eventually developed into chapter wise writing on what would go on each chapter viz. So, after I am satisfied with the overall flow and justification of the book, I made sure to write in my MS Word file.

6) Are you working on something else. When can we reader expect a new book from you.

I have already completed my second book called Papercut, which is co-authored. Right now, I’m into more of getting reviews and planning for the marketing of my current book and preparing for the release of the next one. I may plan to write my third novel by summer of 2022.
