Have you ever read Haiku? Or do you know what Haiku is? After receiving this book I came to know about another style of poetry. A haiku is traditionally a Japanese poem consisting of three short lines that do not rhyme. The origins of haiku poems can be traced back as far as the 9th century.
This is a collection of some wonderful haiku poems. Each poem is as explained, of three lines only but they explain a vibe in them.

They are deeply moving and paint pictures that show us the different hues of our lives. They are born from sharp observations of the world around us.
There are many such pieces that I truly liked. Again few are accompanied by small illustrations. They remind us what truly life is all about and in those words are hidden the true essence of it.
They talk about intricacies of the outer but again the inner world which we all experience but rarely do we take time to contemplate on and thus understand their deeper meanings in our lives.

They revolve around a myriad of themes that all point out essence of family bond, love, nature's presence, dreams, loneliness and many such aspects of our lives.

Truly some are nostalgic and take to back to a place of dreams and desires.
