2029 by Swati Khatri is a science fiction based in 2029 but it almost feels like it's our near tomorrow only.
I loved the storytelling part.
Smooth, interesting and engaging.
“Technology has made life so much better. If it wouldn't have been for technology, life would have been so difficult,”. How will it change for Maanvi ? Will she understand that admit the changed environment something never changed ? Can everything be managed at home ? When cooking, office and everything can be , is making a kid grow entirely at home the next answer?
I liked the concept of AI. The feelings Maanvi went through after Karthika departure were real. But is it the solution that she is following? How will she see through it ?Is Maanvi really happy admist all the AI technology? She is disconnecting with the outside world ?
I actually liked the development of the smart homes , the architectural advancements the author has put in this short story is nice and thoughtful. This story has something deep and expensive to think about. Definitely go for it. A short yet meaningful story to make a mark.
