Nalanda : Until We Meet Again by Gautaam Borah

Love makes the world go round. Only few are truly lucky to experience it and more over live their lives with the same person. Good love stories help us look forward in life and keep our beliefs intact in its existence even in this chaotic world.
Nalanda:  Until We Meet Again is the start of a journey across dimensions by two couples to meet each other by author Gautaam Borah. It starts just like other  conventional contemporary stories where they meet and get to know each other but later the introduction of a twist takes it to whole another level introducing the shades of a different genre.
Neil and Aanchal meet in Oxford University and fall in love. Their paths separate due to their diverse career options. But life had other plans and they come together once more. While few new people come, their hearts still beat for each other. When Aanchal's politician dad fixes her wedding forcefully with a stubborn rich man, things take to take turns and we witness some action between the protagonist and the antagonist which actually leads to the twist that made all the pieces come together in the puzzle.
Neil's life changes with his meet with the Mysterious sage whose mentions we get in ancient Indian text. A thousand years old conspiracy from Nalanda and mystery hidden behind it all, controls their lives till date and it comes to play once more. The last part was a proof that there's going to be a sequence to it.
What I liked :
🌼Relatable personalities.
🌼Narrative style was smooth yet witty.
🌼Portrays the idea that
love can be multidimensional.
🌼That what we perceive about our universe is so limited and way more  possibilities lie out there.
🌼How Neil felt at each stage were genuine
🌼I enjoyed the last part more than the other two parts.

What I thought could be better :
❄️The middle part felt a bit dragging. I enjoyed the first part of the relationship and again the last part more.

Altogether it proved to be an  enjoyable and engaging read. If you are looking for a light yet an entertaining start of a series,  definitely go for it!

I definitely wait for the second part to come out !
