I have been an avid fan of author Amar B. Singh's books for some time now. His unique style of storytelling through verses is truly captivating. His books are deeply philosophical and encourage us to contemplate the reality of life and dive deeper into our consciousness. If you are someone who often ponders questions like, "Who am I?" or "What is the universe about?" then I highly recommend giving his books a try. Once you read one, you will likely be compelled to pick up more because his thoughts are profound and resonate deeply with our hearts, revealing significant truths.
After reading four of his previous works and falling in love with them, I recently picked up his latest book, Vishwa. This book provided me with an entirely different experience as it introduced me to the four states of consciousness: Vishwa, Taijasa, Pragya, and Turiya.
"The Life of Vishwa" deals with the states of human consciousness and what lies beyond, based on the Upanishadic discussions on the three states of consciousness. The book is beautifully divided and integrated at the same time, covering the Fourth state, Turiya, which is the state of the Almighty God.
In the verses, the author explains how we all begin as Vishwa, but soon become seekers and transition into the other states of consciousness as we realize that worldly pleasures are fleeting and ultimately unfulfilling.
This world is like a cobweb of illusions that traps us in a never-ending cycle of despair. From desires, greed, and carnal needs to guilt, sadness, and failure, we are constantly caught in the web. The state of eternal happiness lies in Turiya, which is beyond the three states of consciousness discussed in the book.
I highly recommend this book to those who appreciate author Amar Singh's previous works and to readers who are seekers and enjoy delving deeper than surface-level thinking. If you enjoy contemplating the reality beyond what meets the eye, then this book is definitely for you.
