Been There Before by R. Santosh

If someday you get gifted with a sixth sense, what would you wish it to be and how would you use it?
This same question is the revolving factor in this sci-fic mystery book!

Filled with twists abd turns, it takes us into a mind blowing world of mystery, the imaginations of supernatural existence, human relationship hues and life's overall meaning.

Been There Before by Dr. R. Santosh is a journey through the intertwined lives of Arjun Rathore and Avtar Singh, shaped by Arjun's extraordinary gift of foreseeing events in Avtar's life! I found the very idea of it very intriguing!

The backdrop is basically of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi, the story explores the complexities of their unique bond and how they navigate societal challenges.

As the duo rises in social status, the narrative also progresses to the impactful conclusion during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 so this story brings us back to the present reality.

Later another brilliantly crafted character -Randhir Singh, Avtar's son, who is a key player in India's space program enters.

This brings us to a turning point where a  compelling conflict arises when Arjun's sixth sense becomes a formidable obstacle to Randhir's mission.

Thus the story slowly starts to integrate suspense and dilemma as Randhir grapples with the choice between scientific research and the inexplicable accuracy of Arjun's predictions.

I really like books whoch expand our thinking power and boosts imaginative range of our mind.

By the way, author Dr. R. Santosh has won Dr. Abdul kalam award for excelling in the field of Endocrinology!

Historical events with contemporary challenges mixed thought-provoking exploration of fate, science, and the human connection, I feel this story has the power to keep you glued till the end. If you are into stories that has fresh plots, thoughtful events bringing twists every once in a while but having a meaningful message where different genres of literature blend together to come up with an interesting tale, you have to read this book for sure.
