A story of loss and love ! 'Tea Country' by Lekha Sharma

I bought this book named Tea Country  because it's set in the Himalayan hills of Northern West Bengal. Having visited Kalimpong in 2022, I was intrigued by Dooars. As the blurb described about its connection with animal human conflict being an animal lover, I felt more cativated.  So, the story follows Trisha. She is a young American biologist who travels to Dooars to research human-animal conflicts, especially involving elephants. 'The Game of Choices: Khaayega Ya Lagayega' by Anish

The Game of Choices by uthor Anish is such a fresh story to read. Though it is a fiction that revolves around the world of cricket and the presence of mischief conducted by business-minded cheaters like betting syndicates and bookmakers, it imparts some life lessons.  There are many different characters with complex personalities, but our protagonist is the one whose life is focused on. The timelines jump between 2007, 2008, and 2011, but the language is kept lucid and the twists are easy to grasp with a middle-paced plot. Due to our impulsive nature, sometimes we take hasty actions resulting in long-term damages. The author shares through the plot that we are the products of our choices.
