I love psycho-thrillers!
Thus I picked up 'The Dalhousie Murders' by Aneeta Sharma recently after hearing about its interesting storyline. It is really intriguing. This is a psycho-thriller, and from the very first chapter, it pulled me into its world. I love psycho-thrillers and this proved to be a very engaging read as well.
The suspense kept me turning the pages, making it hard to put down.
The story is set in the peaceful hill station of Dalhousie, but things take a dark turn when a honeymooning couple finds a dead body. Inspector Kanet starts investigating, but the case gets complicated when the CID from Delhi interferes. Many people in the town have secrets. There is Lalit Bharucha, a businessman with a mysterious past, and his wife, Kiyana, who seems too perfect. Ashlesha, a competitive woman, has left everything behind to stay in Dalhousie. Haneesha appears innocent, but is she really? Then there’s Kabir Rana, a man in prison. With so many suspects, every new clue makes the mystery even deeper. The book is full of twists and surprises that keep the reader hooked.
