I read the first book of the series - Mortals of Kandahar a month ago and found it very engaging!
The story, full of adventure and secrets, made me curious about what would happen next.
So, I picked up the second part- Mortals of Kandahar II: The Beginning to continue the journey and see how the characters face new challenges.
In this book, Kandahar is broken after betrayal and power struggles. Arian, the grandson of Rajvanta, discovers hidden secrets. Meanwhile, Aryanath, Darius, and Kyra, now older and wiser, return to protect their land. As ancient forces awaken, they must make difficult choices.
Bonds are tested, and trust is broken.
The story shares about leadership, ambition, and survival.
The first book followed Kyra, Aryanath, and Darius as they tried to protect their homeland. They found ancient relics and prophecies while facing betrayal and an upcoming invasion. It was an amazing read , so the second part did justice too. The writing is also flowy, smooth and yes lucid to keep track of. Moreover it is a short and quick read making the series entertaining.
Kyra and Darius grew closer, but dark forces threatened their peace. In the end, a new legacy was created.
After finishing this, I am looking forward to read the next part. Yes the third part is put finally!
For both these parts, I liked the fast pace, short chapters and yes the covers! The covers are super gorgeous!
Readers who love historical fantasy and epic adventures will enjoy this book. It offers action, mystery, and deep emotions.
As the story explored themes of power, destiny, and sacrifice, I found it a thrilling and meaningful read.
