Love, Handwritten: A Vintage Whisper from Letters to Lost Lovers

Have you ever longed for a time when love arrived in envelopes, when words took days to travel but stayed forever in hearts?

I have not written love letters but surely have exchanged handwritten letters to my friend staying in another state back in my school days when their was only gtalk, orkut and letters even speed post took over couple of weeks to reach.

Those letters were so special. The wait for them added another wave of excitement around them. I miss those olden days for sure. With time such sweet things have faded away. But here is a book, I am glad I picked up that freshens those gone days and sumple vibes in the form of vintage styled pages and letters for hardcore lovers!
Letters to Lost Lovers by poet Sunaina Aggarwal brings back that gentle world, where handwritten letters carried warmth, longing, and quiet hope.

I liked reading the poetic letters which I have shared here.

I loved this book for five heartfelt reasons.

-It reminded me how meaningful slow love can be.

-The emotional honesty in each letter touched me.

-The language was delicate and nostalgic.

-The stories felt deeply human.

-And lastly, the aesthetic aspects of this book. The pages are so beautifully vintage styled and high quality glossy that its a piece of art to have in my collection!

Sunaina paints moments of silence, waiting, and distance with a graceful hand.

Through letters that were sometimes never answered, the book tells stories of lovers torn by fate, yet still connected by ink and paper.

Each chapter feels like opening a forgotten drawer of memories.

Stamps, postcards, and yellowing paper come alive in this collection.

The smallest phrases—"I miss you" or "Come home soon"—carry the weight of oceans.

These letters remind us that emotions once had texture, scent, and shape.

They weren’t deleted or scrolled past—they were ACTUALLY treasured.

I got my paperback copy from Amazon, and I’m so glad I did. Just get your copy soon.
