Dogisthaan by Shayon Moitra

It is not new for you guys to know how much I love Dogs! Dogs are truly unconditional in love. They are humanities great trustworthy friends!
From my 9.5 years with Ronny to every stray I’ve cared for, their presence fills my soul with an indescribable, pure affection. So, when I came across this new book about Dogs! A mythical place called Dogisthaan, I knew I had to read it.

The hardcover is stunning, the storytelling mind-blowing.

Daivik's village, Matsya, in a fictional world, is in dire need of help. A devastating flood caused by rising ocean levels is destroying everything. Villagers are dying, and the end is near. Daivik sets out to find a mythical land spoken of only in tales.
At the end of his perilous journey, he discovers Shvanasthaan- a majestic mountainous land ruled by intelligent, dog led by their raven-like black, gargantuan lord, Kram, whose paw is larger than a human head. Humans are forbidden there, yet they desperately need his help to prevent humanity’s end.

A pact, a sacred agreement of trust is signed, a big decision taken, altering the fate of humans and dogs forever. Kram lowering his head to Daivik reminded me of every dog whose trust allowed me to touch them, despite their power to harm. Even the most fearful dogs I’ve met have shown belief in me. Such moments made me instantly connect to the story.

The introduction of Vrik brings major twist to the plot. Animal lovers will cherish this book. Vivid descriptions bring everything before my eyes, and I love the story’s purpose finally. I donot want to giveaway the storyline too much , so ahead and read this book!

I also highly appreciate the author for advocating animal welfare. He shares about few rescue centre and NGO details in the last pages.

May be I am not sure, but there can be a next part and I shall wait for it.
