Emotions are given to us by nature for a reason. But many times, we are not aware of their importance.
"At school, we learn reading and
writing, but we are not taught how
to understand our emotions.
There are no classes for
the education of the heart!"
(Quoted from WHEN FEELINGS SPEAK)
We often go overboard and label some emotions as good and others as bad. But is that really so? Not at all.
Every emotion has its own role, and they come and go to remind or alert of something and we must listen to it for time being and this book beautifully highlights that.
"When Feelings Speak" shows us that emotions are not enemies but teachers.
They don't need to be forgotten or supressed infact they cannot be, they are here to stay. Why to increase your emotional baggage? But finding balance is essential. That's what this book reminds us.
Through Bhavin’s journey, we learn how anger, fear, sadness, and peace guide us in life. Bhavin is our fur friend here - a gorgeous mountainous sherpherd dog.
With gentle words and beautiful pictures, it reminds us to listen to our feelings, trust ourselves, and find balance within.
I absolutely loved the writing. It is powerful, yet expressed in the softest way, seeping through my skin into my soul.
The thoughts within these words spark a glow in my heart, letting their essence sink deep and stay for long.
The vibrant, colourful illustrations made by the author ( @@minafabis.author ) of the valleys and flower ladden Himalayan landscapes bring a profound warmth throughout my inner landscape!
Moreover, Bhavin, who guided me like a true companion, brought back nostalgic memories of my beloved dog Ronny, with whom I spent nine beautifully unforgettable years of my life and who made my heart bloom.
I truly love picture books, and when they are created with such thoughtfulness, they instantly become my all-time favourites!
I think this book will definitely be loved by kids to understand emotions but I won't say it can be limited to be a children’s book but its a book for all ages.
No doubt, this book is one of the sweetest and most beautiful reads of my year.
I highly recommend it to everyone.
