It is a nice story that starts like the new brought dog from the pet shop is wondering why people are so into those electronic devices and donot enjoy life as much they should and play with her . Her new owner is a little girl who is immersed into the world of online social media  apps. She befriends a neighborhood dog Brie. He has some secret job/mission going on but Remi is clueless none the less she starts investigating. The adventures of her and brie start from there. Through out the story author has shown by various incident s nd accidents how humans are so negligent towards other forms of life and due to their focus on devices while walking , crossing road , not spending time with family and even while driving lets them loose contact not only with their family but also with the beautiful nature and cause Health and injury to others due to carelessness. The Conspiracy Unknown (Book 1 ) : The Vengeance of the Fallen : My take on a novel by Mr. Abishek Babu

This book Vengeance of the Fallen by Author Abhishek Babu is a blend of various genres.  The cover is quite dark, eye catching and vivid. It is a tale that swings between a historical fiction and then to a fantasy backdrop where you see futuristic elements. The book starts with few unique concepts by author like how he has put forward the dates in AE and BE like our BC And AD. It showed the intellectual and imaginative thoughts a reader can enjoy to  explore the  mystic plot and have an adventurous ride. Author has creative ideas.  Then there was this map showing how provinces were divided and ruled by moriyan  and other dynasties with few suspense lurking into a conspiring tale along with a prophecy. How is it related to the future where the earth has gone cold , now there are some particle colliders all over the planet but what are there purposes , who silently entered the lab and changed the main particle and what is his aim , is he ...

Prologued : Blind Date with a Book !

I chose these 5 clues for my blind date with a book ! Recently I came across a Mumbai based start up called Prologued where they help people go on a "blind date" with books.  _______________________ A Blind Date with a Book is a lot of fun where you can order a hand wrapped book that has 5 clues written on the top. These clues vaguely describe what the book is about and based on that you have to pick your read. You won't be aware of anything else - not the author or even the title of the book. Which book you will  receive depends on the seller team .  _______________________ After finalising your book, you may place an order which starts from 250/- and your blind date will arrive at your doorstep.I received mine after 7-10 days and that's when I  got  to unwrap it and know which book it is. It is like pampering yourself with a little surprise.Again it was plastic free packaging.Nicely wrappped with jute thread and a brown paper with ...

Grieve with Understanding ( By author Farzana Sarup ) : My thoughts on this short novel

With arrival of events that bring grief in our life , we either start becoming more inert and emotionless or start to understand the great secrets of life sent in subtle ways by the universe to make us learn to survive in a better way . It is a very short read of only pages. The cover totally made me choose it. The story actually is melancholic and philosophical in nature.  Also, the experiences are from the real life understanding of authoress. Mona is an independent strong headed woman. she has blocked out emotional attachments tagging them as weak mindedness. But as the story progresses, I came to know all this strong exterior is due to a sudden heart-breaking incident that took place in her life long ago when she started questing the purpose of the existence and love. She is on verge of losing all her faith in the role of the almighty but then she is in another life changing painful twist where she has to battle the lose of the closest person in her life. Thr...

Struggled and Soared : A book by Mr. Vipin Chopal

This s a small little book with four chapters about four eminent Indian women personalities who inspired author. He has described how and why he feels these women personalities of India made our country proud in many ways in the eyes of the world through their invaluable contribution in music , literature , faith and fields of courage protecting our own land from foreign hands. Each chapter has a beautiful portrait of the person and in the pages he has shared the early life of their courageous lifestyle breaking barriers and coming to top , keeping their passion alive and touching millions of hearts even after 200 years of independence.. Lata ji is famous not only in our country but also she is the singer holding Guinness book of world records for recording the most number of songs . In that chapter story of Madam Asha Bhosle is also mentioned that she chose a different style of singing and made her name even after being hindered by her elder sisters shadow . About ...

The Steal (By author Yuvaraja Dhayanithi ) : My thoughts on this novel

The cover truly is eye catching like infrared thermal vision picture with halo and chrome effect .Quite vivid ,  I like it . This is the second book of Author Yuvaraja whose first book Merjella was a children's fantasy adventure based fiction revolving around aquatic life . Now this book is a blend of thriller with YA romantic elements. Fast paced with short chapters , I actually liked it as the plot didn't lag. The story of Sofia and Mohan moved with a breeze which started with a catchy uncanny beginning of introducing themselves as robbers but Sofia is actually medical student in Germany . Mohan is very secretive and kind of cheeky . Even if it all started with a joke , casual childish acts , their adventures like youngsters put their feet in unknown cobwebs basically got them into serious series of life risking results  . How did they fall in the decision of robbing a bank at the first place ? Why ? Did they really need the  money ? Or...

The Unknown Lives : Book Review

This book starts with an intro that says these short stories came in form of letters sent to the authors  by many people around the world and 15 best were selected among them.  I came  to know later  that its just a concept but this way of presentation is thoughtfulness to catch readers attention .Each letter starts with a title and many of them are shown as they were either found in hands of unknown little kid by side of a road  , a dying man or sent by a journalist , etc. I liked the letter by a Prostitute in hands of her kids. It was heart breaking. Though its a fiction but that is the reality and it is horrific to even imagine. Then the letter by an army personnel to his beloved telling war is not an answer . He sends his undying love to his unborn child . It was beautiful. The first letter that was by a father confessing to his son his untold love story didnot to...
