Lately I have been reading this book and what a fascinating book it is.  The Unscriptured by Sourish Roy feels like an mind blowing journey through time and mystery.  It is set against the backdrop of the sylvan lower Himalayan terrains. The read intertwines historical enigmas with a tale that carries modern-day intrigue.  The story begins with a missing relic, crucial for the annual Durga puja celebration in Jalpaiguri, leading to an investigation that uncovers hidden truths from India's past. As i started reading the story that blends fiction with historical events, it makes me ponder "what if" scenarios involving notable figures like Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo, Gandhi, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
