The Brocken Egg of Legacy by Tushar Parashar

Lately I finished reading this book of 450 pages.  The Brocken Egg of Legacy authored by Mr. Tushar Parashar is an young adult contemporary fiction.   The story starts with students of an engineering college being questionned by seniors in the automobile stream. Here we get to know from what background each of the characters in the story come from. It made me feel nostalgic about my engineering grad days.  There is young handsome lad - Rajveer whose father is an ACP. Om is from Bheel tribes of MP. Honey is an intelligent girl who knows everything about vehicles. Aashu is a shy boy. Lastly here is our protagonist Raghav. Nobody knows he is from the family of legacies. Anything But This by Hitesh Goenka

Anything But This is a collection of personal thoughts and experiences by the author Hitesh Goenka.  I started the book with lots of expectation. I am myself a victim of migraine for 10-15 years now and my migraine is not episodic but chronic in nature that is I get it twice a week. So basically I remain ill on most days of the week. So I try to understand the process of this neurological disorder every now and then so I can manage it better as it has affected my whole lifes direction in a deteriorating way.  This book is about his experience where he shares how painful for him were his 3 decades with it. As the book starts we get to know he had a series of symptoms from his very childhood. Not only that,  as migraine is a genetic disorder it came from his mother who he describes as a true warrior who never lets the pain succumb her life's ways. I felt respect for her.  Slowly the book flows into it's chapters of events...

They have the capability of express immense emotions in only small bundles of verses or words.  This book is not only a collection if poems bit few write ups as well.  Starting from the very cover art I truly found the minimalistic design calming and beautiful. Somewhere the white colour soothes my mind whenever I pick this book up.  The author is an impact focused investment banker and a climate change activist. She is also a reader like us. I could see through the pages she had an urge to tell her own story and express herself to the world when she wrote these ethereal pieces.  In Between Homes is a beautiful tribute to our hearts that express a seri...
