Yellow By Urja Joshi

Yellow by Urja Joshi is a very beautiful book full of verses. This book has two parts - Mohi and Kabir.  How well is this thoughtful and unconventional way to portray the cycle of Hurt and Heal. Mohi is not only a character, but a phase in everyone's life that hurts us deeply. Kabir on the other hand is the arrival of healing process.  The book starts with Mohi. Filled with beautiful abstract illustrations on each page, the relevant verses touch us and remind us that somepoint in our lives or the other we have been hurt in various ways. We all are or have struggled to be understood by the outside world and sometimes the inner world was more to be understood by our ownselves. When we searched high and low for the touch of love, loosing our own identity to get blended with the conventional notions of being the best, got abused or maltreatments while our self love and esteem bid us goodbye. Then the Healing part comes in. Here the verses

Batch of '01 by Mr. Aurgho Ghosh is a political thriller with an interesting plot and engrossing narration. Coming to the story, the prologue already captured my attention by telling about an woman who while reading the newspaper, gets horrible flashbacks of her the barbaric murder of her full family in the hands of a enraged mob many years back while she was only 18 years of age. The horrendous murder of Jason, the chief intelligence officer into the woods with his decapitated body close to a standing devilish silhouette leaves the state and nation shocked. Here is Rajat Dwiwedy. He memories are filled with his distubed childhood. LOVE, LIFE AND RELATIONSHIP - An Intro - A short story - Jamal 'PM' Nozil

Few days ago I mentioned in one of my posts that I was reading this book named LOVE, LIFE AND RELATIONSHIP - An Intro - A short story, which is a collection of poetry on Life's different facets. It also includes few poems on various relationships of a person in life with family, friends and loved ones. ⁣ ⁣ There are total 20 poems. Though I had an opportunity to read the kindle version, I can imagine how beautiful the paperback would be. The pages are filled with colourful pictures as background. They create a pleasant asthetic atmosphere around the overall reading experience.⁣  I liked the moments captioned and the ability of the lines to touch my heart about different aspects of the beautiful emotion of love. Even the poems like Who can blame the boy with which the book starts expressed the unexpressed words of a man. Some poems speak of one's first love experiemce, heartfelt appreciation and gratitude towards one's partner, etc. He also expresses

When the Mystic Meets a Starfish by _Inkling Ink

When the Mystic Meets a Starfish by _Inkling Ink is a collection of poems. The cover is wonderful. It is vibraint and magical along with the quirky title. According to the author a mystic is a person who tries to blend with the almighty by connecting with living and l the non living. I also agree with this. ⁣ ⁣ A mystic is someone who can find a deep aesthetic connection with everything in the universe and fill cosmos's wonders.  Starfish symbolises guidance, vigilence, inspiration, intuition. It is about celestial love. Combining these both she aims the poems to speak about mysticism to the hearts of readers. So the idea behind the book is thoughtful.⁣ You may check this book here  https://amzn.to/3fbFjx7 ⁣ Coming to the content now. The poems are light read, lovely and very lucid. They can also be called very brief proses.  Only few words are used to capture a thought in a moment like they are either deep rooted thoughts or just tem

Here are two quote from the book:  "For a leader to be able to inspire his team, he needs to be inspired himself. A crow can only produce crows, only an eagle can produce eagles." "As a leader you are the influencer, role model for your team." The book starts with the very early life experience of Mr.Handoo where he had to shift to a refugee camp in Kashmir.  Later when he faced a family members loss, his father gave him some valuable perspective towards life. She Was Elder Than Me - Rohit Mane

Love is beyond all differences and constraits. Our society has still not been able to come out of few strong conventional beliefs. What if a boy and a girl fall in love where the condition of age is just reversed ?  Here in 'She Was Elder Than me' by Rohit Mane , Mohit is a very nice, true to the heart boy who is in the very initial phase of his college  days. He is waiting for his dream girl. His uncle's wedding is nearby so they visit their village. There he meets many but one relative's daughter  wins his heart.  Malini is beautiful, joyous and everything but she is 5 years elder to him!  The events shaping their meet, blooming young adult love, different twists, trials to keep things intact throughout the story till the agony of separation were emotionally captivating. The twist in the end with the phone ring opened up a myriad of possibilities. Only thing that I was not able to comprehend easily was that Manali is Mohit's bua

The Orgia Khronicles by John Auletta

'Orgia'  is the name  of  an  ancient  celebration  of  the Greek  God  Dionysus and  the  very  essence  of  Dionysus represents  the  way  a  person  seeks  ecstasy  through  direct experience  or  passion. Dionysus was the ancient Greek god of wine, winemaking, grape cultivation, fertility, ritual madness, theater, and religious ecstasy.  What I understood according to my compression ability is that he actually symbolises rebirth, new beginning and hope in the hardest of situations. He had been worshiped as early as 1500-1100 BCE by Mycenean Greeks. In Orgia Khronicles, author Mr.John has compiled verses, poems, adages, proses, quotes from various books.  Most of them are his own and has his own twists. He is a follower of him. They are philosophical and spiritual lessons towards life inspired by the Greek god and his own real life experiences. His aim is the readers can also feel and understand the essence of life. In my view again, all the

I have been reading this non-fiction book ' Fetch Your Own Coffee by Mr.Kaustubh Sonalkar' for few weeks now. I really like it's unconventional content that have been collected from various popularly read blogs over the period of three long years.  Its way of presenting some basic and few not so talked about lessons from everyday for everyone in a very thoughtful, arranged and creative manner actually makes me more eagar to keep reading it. The exterior asthetics makes is a beautiful hardcover to have but again the diverse range of topics it touches like for example communicating with the present generation, ge der equality, feminism, job interviews, third gender, post millennial topics and many such subjects that present to us various socio-economic and even political aspects of human life makes it a beautiful book that will definitely helps us to extend your perspective.
