Designing Destiny ( The Heartfulness Way ) - Daaji / Kamlesh Patel - Book Review

The cover is minimalistic and so soothing and calming. There are 4 parts and within which 15 chapters are written . Very thoughtfully the thoughts of Daaji are mentioned. They are apt to be used in our modern lifestyle which does not demand a lot of change to adapt the heartfulness. Just like the first book , this book has effective ways portrayed to reduce stress , anxiety , etc. The book emphasizes on the need to feel love in our daily activities like eating , sleeping , speaking , which brings emotional stability , respect and mindful control of thoughts. There are diagrams too and drawings that add depth and makes the read more interesting. Very lucid motivating language. Though you may not fully come to believe each statement as it is basically thoughts of others and to experience them you need to give yourself time and observe , but if thought deeper we do understand with time what really matters and a peaceful heart is always better that brings confirmed better future. Wonderful ...

Fellow Traveller ( by Rahul Saini ) Book Review

"Why are forbidden fruits so attractive " The cover and the blurb do not reveal much about the actual story. A contemporary fiction that runs between two different timeline one when the protagonist Aayush is in the present and writes a letter and the other about the situations which he is writing about that revolves around emotional attachment , love , childhood sweetheart , past love failures , career stress , moving on to new life phase with memories . Buy this book here - https://amzn.to/2L4gDtE But it also depicts few more things like devastating affect of drugs that new generation finds somehow cool . LGBT community is also discussed and the need to be open about these natural things . I found few traits of Pari and Aayush a lot related to my persona, so I was able to correlate with their thoughts. To know the blurb check blog.Author Mr.Rahul Saini has taken time to display the raw emotions that go through a man's mind which is no less than a woman's and I liked ...

One Monsoon in Mumbai ( Ebook by Authoress Anitha ) Review

The book "One Monsoon in Mumbai" by authoress - "Anitha Perinchery " starts with a magnificient view of Mumbai described in brief lines but with such beautiful depth that it will capture your attention within that very first page. The language is decorated with nice words that I particularely i really liked but it may come as bit diffucult to some . One Monsoon in Mumbai: Romcom with suspense, set in India. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07QCLM4H1/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_ktB2Cb3R61QJT Character of Seema the main female protagonist who is smart , detective but yet goes soft on her knees for the opposites but still holds on to her duties was beautifully depicted in the fiction. I liked her character. Also the insights into cyberspying was new to me and it felt nice to know more of that arena. Also how seema was disguising herself was nicely narrated when she was sent to investivate the father son duo and when the father is finance minister and his son her supposed bf. It is a lig...

This book I recently received , is a good literary material if you are looking to enrich your knowledge base about the United Nations Organizations , specially about the intricate working of The security council . Author was the head of India's UN affairs during its membership of 2011-2012 . He steered India's response to Libya and Syria crisis and was ambassador to UN in Geneva where he was appointed as Vice president of Human rights council in 2014. Within each chapter author has poured in great amount of facts . Why was UNO formed ? What made the Honchos create it ? How do the policies and working differ in it from the previous League of Nations which in practicality failed to stop the World war II . The charter , preamble , main focus of the different parts of UNO focusing deeply on the permanence of the 5 nations who have veto power in council is disscussed in a elaborate way. You will get a good view of the socio political scenario of Second wolrd war period with the cold...

Poonachi ( Book Review )

I finished this book way back in February this year , 2019 but couldnot write my thoughts not only because of lined up reviews of books sent by publishers and authors but again also due to my incapibility to express what myriad of emotions and thoughts stormed into my soul while I read this book within 2 nights. I was amazed to read someone didnot find it good ! While I have no words to describe much how this book touched my soul , I will recommend you all to read the story of a ordinary goat based in south Indian interior village that has been cursed with drought , whose life is not even a value to anyone. Almost left to die he finds a new home in a old human couples hut. This story is written in a allegorical way actually. It tells story of animal life but the inner parts show the life of all of us metaphorically. It shows sometimes even an unknown normal being if can become just a bit famous how fame treats it.It again shows how humans use animals for their own benefit in a horrendo...

Different Shades of Love by Komal ( Book review )

Love comes in different hues , Some are deep hard to digest , some are calmer but you cannot much feel and some are just perfect ! Love has so many facets , so many different ways it comes to us. This story is about a young girl Megha who works in a private company. Now if you too are in private sector you guys will feel more connected. Her parents are conservative specially her strict father. She is there fore having some self esteem issues . Her past break up adds on to more of her problems. Her innocence , kind heart , jolly character made me feel good. There are funny incidents of office related works . And then you can relate to those bitchy colleagues. Then there comes a new addition to her team Samir. The story is guessable so on few sections I was getting impatiemt with the chats between colleagues and kind of you can understand what is going to happen in next stage but author has tried to keep unfolding the story slowy with fine pace. I liked how Megha thinks random things whe...
